Robert L. Ziffer, Ph.D. is the founder and co-director of Student Success Services. Dr. Ziffer is a clinical and school psychologist with a diplomate in assessment psychology from the American Board of Assessment Psychology. With over 25 years experience, he has served as Director of Outpatient Psychological Services, Director of Psychology Training, Director of Evaluation Research, Supervisor in the Family Therapy Training Center at the Philadelphia Child Guidance Clinic, and clinical affiliate in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. Dr. Ziffer has consulted at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, the Crossroads School, and The Haverford School.

Debbie Flaks, M.Ed. co-directs Student Success Services, and has over 20 years experience in schools and colleges helping students, parents, and teachers. Ms. Flaks worked at the Crefeld School, a progressive college preparatory school for students who have struggled in more traditional schools, as a teacher, learning specialist, and Director of Program and Student Support. Ms. Flaks is also an Adjunct Professor in the Education Department at Bryn Mawr and Haverford Colleges, and supervises student teachers at Swarthmore College.
